Assessments

We often use assessment tools in our coaching, consulting and training. The assessments depict an individual’s inherent preferences for handling various situations and people. Combined with 360′s, they offer a deeper picture of the individual and help them understand differences between how others see them and how they see themselves. Listed below are the assessments we frequently use.

 

CPI 260®

The CPI 260 is used for a multitude of leadership and management applications. It opens a new window on people’s strengths and opportunities for development, describing individuals the way others see them. It builds on the exceptional history, validity, and reliability of the California Psychological Inventory™ (CPI™) assessment. The assessment measures more than two dozen scales in five areas: Interpersonal Behavior, Social and Personal Values, Cognitive Needs and Performance, Personal Characteristics, and Work-Related Characteristics.

 

CPI 260® Coaching Report for Leaders®

The highly intuitive CPI 260 Coaching Report for Leaders empowers clients to identify their strengths and blind spots, enabling them to capitalize on their strengths, target areas for development, and plan action steps to increase their effectiveness as leaders.  The report compares  clients’ answers to those of 5,600 managers and executives and provides results on eighteen leadership characteristics, organized into five core performance areas:

  • Self-management

  • Team building and teamwork

  • Organizational capabilities

  • Problem solving

  • Sustaining the vision

The Coaching Report for Leaders includes suggested next steps and is a powerful tool for management and leadership development that can be used in combination with the CPI 260® Client Feedback Report or as a stand-alone solution.

 

FIRO-B®

Leadership Effectiveness Survey (LES)

The Leadership Effectiveness Survey (LES) is a 360° multi-rater feedback process providing experienced professionals with an opportunity to receive feedback on their job performance from the people around them – their manager, peers, subordinates and customers.  It provides employees and managers with insightful, 360-degree performance feedback needed for them to develop and succeed.  This survey is designed to assist in professional development. Every aspect of the process is customized to your organization and the core competencies believed to be important to your professional growth and development.

 

Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)®

The MBTI is used in a wide variety of businesses – from small partnerships to large Fortune 500 companies. Organizations use the MBTI for Leadership Development, Change Management, Team Building, Communication, Conflict Management, Sales, and Career Management. The MBTI helps people become aware of their personality preferences and how these preferences affect their approach to work. It can help reduce unproductive interpersonal and intra-organizational conflict.  Project and unit members can assess the strengths and blind spots of their team in a nonjudgmental way. Individual employees can use the MBTI to evaluate the fit between themselves, their colleagues and their jobs.

 

Strong Interest Inventory®

The Strong Interest Inventory assists individuals in identifying patterns of interests and how these compare with those of successful people in many occupations. The results are based on interests only, not abilities. This inventory suggests occupations, educational goals, hobbies, organizations, and even types of people that are potentially congruent with one’s likes, dislikes and inclinations.

The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) is the world’s best-selling assessment for understanding how different conflict-handling styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics.  It’s a fast and powerful tool that can go beyond conflict management to support your team-building, leadership and coaching, and retention goals.
